About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, working closely with the private equity sponsors and founders to drive financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term value creation. This highly visible role requires an individual with deep financial leadership experience in the construction industry, particularly in areas such as project-based accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, cash flow management, and banking relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling the financial infrastructure, supporting growth through operational improvements, and leading strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all financial aspects of the company, from accounting to financial planning and analysis. The role also involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, as well as driving cash flow optimization and managing relationships with various financial stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including a previous role as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Divisional Finance Executive. Experience in a private equity-backed environment and a proven track record of influencing operational decision-making are essential. The CFO will also be expected to mentor the finance and accounting team, ensure strong internal controls, and identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
