Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Ayer, MA Salary: $38-$40 per hour (Based on experience) Schedule: (1st Shift) Mon - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Should have flexibility to work OT as needed) Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, train, and support maintenance team members on daily operations Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment Respond to equipment line calls and diagnose mechanical malfunctions quickly Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Assist with equipment installation, setup, and process improvements Support high-speed automated manufacturing systems and production operations Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently Work independently while coordinating with production and operations teams Qualifications 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with high-speed automation and manufacturing equipment Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience required Ability to train and guide maintenance technicians Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Client-Provided Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield EPO and PPO plans (no deductibles, low employee co-pays/premiums) Delta Dental coverage Employer-paid life insurance and short-term disability Paid uniforms Generous PTO: vacation, sick leave, and 12 paid holidays Employee perks: product giveaways, gifts, and discount memberships 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing Employee referral bonuses Advantage Technical is an equal opportunity employer.
