Account Manager (Service Division) South Jersey | Delaware | Southeast PA About the Role Most account management jobs are glorified customer service positions. This isn't one of them. At Hawks & Company, we’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager who knows how to build trust, stay engaged with customers, solve problems, and create long-term value. This role is for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, strengthening partnerships, helping clients operate more effectively, and becoming a trusted advisor not just an order taker. You will manage and grow commercial service relationships across South Jersey, Delaware, and Southeast Pennsylvania while working closely with our service operations and leadership teams. If you naturally take ownership, communicate well, follow through consistently, and enjoy helping customers succeed, keep reading. What You’ll Do You’ll be the primary relationship owner for assigned commercial accounts. That means: Staying engaged with customers consistently Conducting proactive account reviews and customer care visits Managing service agreement renewals Helping customers plan ahead instead of reacting to emergencies Identifying opportunities for repairs, upgrades, replacements, and additional services Coordinating with operations teams to ensure customers receive exceptional support Strengthening relationships across multiple levels within customer organizations You’ll help customers reduce surprises, improve reliability, and make smarter long-term decisions regarding their facilities and HVAC systems. This Role Is NOT For Someone Who: Waits for the phone to ring Avoids difficult conversations Needs constant direction or supervision Dislikes accountability Struggles with organization or follow-through Wants a purely inside/customer service role This Role IS For Someone Who: Builds trust quickly and naturally Communicates professionally and confidently Thinks proactively instead of reactively Enjoys solving problems and helping customers Takes ownership of relationships and outcomes Notices opportunities others miss Balances customer needs with business realities Wants to become a valued advisor to their accounts Why Strong Candidates Like This Role: At Hawks, you won’t be micromanaged into a script-driven environment.
