Role Description The Insurance Account Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Springfield, IL. This position is responsible for assisting new and existing customers with insurance inquiries, policy changes, quotes, and claims-related questions. Daily activities include managing customer accounts, explaining coverage options, processing applications, and following up on leads to support sales goals. The role involves actively participating in outbound and inbound calls, setting appointments, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems. The Insurance Account Representative collaborates with the agent and team members to deliver excellent customer service, support marketing campaigns, and contribute to the overall growth of the agency. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills to support policy reviews, renewals, and ongoing customer relationships. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to respond promptly, handle concerns professionally, and provide a positive client experience. Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to explain insurance products and document interactions accurately. Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify customer needs, present appropriate solutions, and achieve agency production goals. Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and help teammates share best practices. Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred), comfort with computers and CRM tools, and the ability to work on-site full time in Springfield, IL. Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health insurance licenses in Illinois (or willingness to obtain them promptly) are highly beneficial.
