Job TitleThe ideal BA candidate:Advanced degree in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, cheminformatics or other science discipline and/or computer science, ideally exposed to the drug discovery domainExcellent presentation and meeting facilitation skillsStrong customer orientation and the ability to map customer needs to enterprise level systems and dataProven capabilities interacting with scientists and being customer service orientedCapable to collaborate with a community of research scientists to define solutions, to solve underlying needAbility to work independently and/or as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple assignments while working independently and effectively under deadlinesGood understanding and practical experience in data analysis tools to support research processesProfessional communication and interaction with all levels of the organizationDemonstrate respect and dignity in decisions, communications, and actionsPreferred qualifications:3-5 years' in a scientific or biotech environment for design and implementation of software systemsExperience working as Business Analyst according to IIBA BABOKBusiness Analyst training or certification from IIBA (CCBA,AAC,CBAP)Experience working in a matrixed product teamUnderstanding of agile principles and practices (SCRUM/Kanban)Knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite (Jira/Confluence)Experience with international, multi-site software development projectsExperience collaborating across boundaries and geographical sitesExperience with business process modeling and tools (e.g. Adonis BPMN 2.0)
