• Required:
  • Consult Service only. Standard of care is to manage anything else urgent like a bleed etc. which we are expecting to be done but are uncommon.
    
  • Other scopes are up to the discretion of the provider if it is urgent enough to be done on the weekend.
    
• Preferred:
  • X-Ray Interpretation
    

• Licenses: Active SC License
  
• Board: BC in Peds GI or GI
  
• DEA: Yes
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years
  
• Other Qualifications: Clean background required; waivers considered with 1st and 3rd party statements.
  

• Provide comprehensive Pediatric Gastroenterology consult services for inpatients at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
  
• Manage urgent gastrointestinal conditions, including bleeds, during weekend call shifts.
  
• Perform endoscopic procedures as clinically indicated and at the provider's discretion on weekends.
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure continuity of care from Friday 3PM to Monday 7AM.
  
• Adhere to hospital credentialing, privileging, and documentation standards.
