Radiologic Technician

Location UCHealth UCHlth Eastview Medical Center, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department Eastview XR Employment Details Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour, based on experience. Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care to conduct various imaging and radiologic procedures. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Models proficiency through precepting new staff in imaging and/or UCHealth processes. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Reviews patient history, initiates radiographic images based on physician order, and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Responds to and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate. Implements techniques to yield clarity in images, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (ARRT).
