State Licensed Senior Claims Counsel

To support claims management in a remote capacity, the full-time State Licensed Senior Claims Counsel will investigate title insurance claims, develop resolution strategies, and supervise litigation while collaborating with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations of claims and examine title for resolution strategies Negotiate settlements and engage outside counsel as needed for litigation Draft agreements and educational materials, and assist in training staff on claims handling practices Required qualifications Juris Doctorate Degree Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state Minimum five years' experience with title insurance claims administration or real estate law Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to read and interpret legal documents and prepare presentations
