Why you'll love this job This job is a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is r esponsible for daily functions associated with funds transfers at American Airlines Credit Union . What you'll do Perform general ledger balancing Coordinatereturn items with members, outside vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank and other institutions Assistother departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries and related Accounting general ledger balancing Workmember cases/activities assigned Followand maintainpolicies and procedures to ensure strict compliance withNACHA rules and regulations and Federal Banking laws Log, research and make necessary general ledger, account adjustments and/or returns Obtaininformation from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic funds transfer requests Researchand verifyincoming and outgoing funds transfer information Communicatewith vendor to process funds transfers Understandand be familiar with outgoing and incoming funds transfer laws Verify members for outgoing funds transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing funds transfers Perform other duties, as assigned The selected candidate will be responsiblefor ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word experience Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both verbally and in writing Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within department Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
