Job Summary:
A Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is sought for a night shift position in Olympia Field, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care within the ICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Olympia Field, Illinois

• Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0730, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current and valid state RN License; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required between ICU and Telemetry units
• Additional Information: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, guides patient and family teaching, and directs other nursing personnel. Must communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptoms. Must respond promptly to changes in patient status, ensuring privacy and confidentiality. COVID vaccination/boosters are preferred.
