Lead and elevate Perioperative Services as the Nurse Director of Procedural and Perioperative Services at Nantucket Cottage Hospital in beautiful Massachusetts!

The Position

• The Nurse Director of Procedural & Perioperative Services provides strategic and operational leadership across Nantucket Cottage Hospital's procedural, surgical, and perioperative service lines, ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient, and financially responsible care.
• Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and operates in a strong dyad partnership with the Medical Director of Surgical Services. This leader provides oversight of a team of 14 FTEs.
• This leader will advance throughput, operational efficiency, and overall performance across perioperative services while supporting strategic service line growth. A key priority will be developing and executing a forward looking strategy that expands access, enhances capabilities, and aligns with the long term vision for care delivery on the island.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong operational acumen, a process oriented mindset, and the ability to think strategically while balancing what is feasible and safe for the organization. Union experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
• Active RN required.
• At least eight years of progressive leadership experience within perioperative or procedural services, including managing multidisciplinary teams.
