Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator keeps the marketing department running day to day and supports campaigns, events, and content across all Rochester Motor Cars locations. This role touches nearly every part of the marketing operation, from promotional materials and events to website updates and campaign support, and is a strong fit for someone who wants broad exposure and room to grow.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative tasks to keep the Marketing department running smoothly.
• Partner with store leadership, including General Sales Managers and Fixed Operations Managers, to keep marketing efforts and budgets focused on results.
• Coordinate logistics for commercial shoots, radio recordings, photo shoots, promotional events, and company events.
• Develop and produce brochures, posters, print advertising, and other promotional pieces from concept through delivery.
• Order and manage promotional item inventory, and maintain the employee apparel site and apparel standards.
• Update and maintain website content for all locations, including proofreading, content development, key updates, and basic SEO.
• Schedule and post social media updates, and monitor channels for reputation management and alignment with Rochester Motor Cars brand standards.
• Assist with the execution of email, social, and content campaigns under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist.
• Pull recurring numbers on website traffic, leads, and campaign performance for review by the marketing team.
• Provide support to the external agency and third party vendors, sit in on meetings, and follow up on open deliverables.
• Other duties that directly correlate to ever changing business demands.

Job Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands on experience
• Working familiarity with digital marketing channels including SEO, paid search, display, website, social, and Google Analytics, plus traditional media such as radio, TV, and print. Proficiency in every channel is not expected on day one
• Comfortable working across several projects and deadlines at once in a fast paced retail environment
• Strong writing and proofreading skills
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office. Experience with social platforms, web editing tools, or Canva
• Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost management
• Experience in the auto industry preferred, not required
