About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP for its North American logistics division. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the commercial and operational performance of the business, with a focus on unifying and scaling operations across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, procurement, and last-mile delivery. This executive role demands a seasoned commercial leader with a proven track record in developing and executing commercial strategies, particularly in fragmented or high-growth environments. The VP will be responsible for establishing clear business line accountability, setting revenue and profit targets, and designing the organizational structure to support the company's long-term growth and profitability. Applicants for the VP role at the company's North American logistics division should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or have equivalent industry experience, and possess senior leadership experience in logistics or related transportation businesses. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of international logistics operations, P&L ownership, and experience in capital allocation and commercial risk management. A builder mindset, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to drive transformation and sustainable growth are essential. The VP will also be expected to have a hands-on, independent approach, and be comfortable leveraging modern digital tools, including AI, to enhance operational performance and decision-making.
