Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Process prescriptions accurately and timely
• Adhere to policies regarding controlled substances and patient counseling
• Maintain current medication knowledge and flexibility to move where needed

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Current and active state Pharmacy license (Arizona state license preferred)
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of five years professional experience, with two years in management
• Experience in inpatient or emergency room settings
