Seeking Rheumatologist to Join University of Rochester Community Affiliate Practice- J1, H1B and O1
University of Rochester Medicine
The University of Rochester seeks a Rheumatologist interested in joining a regional, affiliated expansion practices located in the community of Olean , NY and Hornell , NY.
Join an existing practice w/ 1 MD as well as APP support - practice a blend of outpatient Rheumatology as well as infusions, in a busy, established practice w/ room for growth.
Candidates will enjoy mentorship from the current provider, excellent work-life balance w/ no nights or weekends, University of Rochester faculty appointment commensurate w/ experience, opportunities for teaching and/or research based on interest, as well as competitive compensation/benefits package.
Depending on your circumstances, we may be able to offer J1 visa waiver and/or H1-B sponsorship.
The Olean community is located in the beautiful Western NY region - the area enjoys gorgeous scenery, low cost of living, friendly and safe communities, highly-ranked schools and college/universities, ample outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, and skiing, as well as convenient travel/short driving distances to nearby cities such as Buffalo NY (1.5 hours), Toronto, Canada (3 hours), Pittsburgh PA (3 hours), and Cleveland OH (2.5 hours). The area as been nicknamed the "Enchanted Mountains Region" of Western NY, boasting of beautiful mountains, gorges, valleys, and rolling landscapes and sought-after skiing and hiking destinations such as Ellicottville NY.
