Club Manager

Club Manager Reports to: District Manager Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non‑Exempt Job Summary Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members. Member service oversight ensuring all team members provide great customer service at all times. High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting and welcoming members, touring the gym, addressing member service issues or questions. Provide support for team members and club members. Create and maintain a positive image for the club. Coaching and counseling team performance to achieve company standards. Ensure prompt opening and closing of the gym. Ensure staff are aware of and trained on current marketing promotions. Complete manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for new hires. Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours. Ensure self and team members implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Order supplies and track inventory. Communicate and interact with customers in a manner that exceeds their needs. Actively listen to customers, including coworkers and the public, and empathize to solve problems. Identify and define problems; analyze information; encourage alternative solutions and plan resolution; seek assistance as needed. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language. Maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings.
