Join our team and shape your career at PALFINGERThe Service Sales Manager drives the expansion of PALFINGER Marine’s Service and Spares business in Panama by developing new customer relationships and identifying and converting commercial opportunities. This role combines strategic market development with hands-on commercial execution to strengthen PALFINGER Marine’s presence and profitability in the Panamanian market and assigned regional area. You will coordinate between sales, service, and spares while developing opportunities across services, spare parts, and upgrades. Working closely with the Head of Sales, Service & Spares Selling, you will help achieve annual objectives while delivering professional support to customers.Your ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and secure commercial opportunities by proactively selling spares, services, and upgrades through deep-selling and cross-selling, supporting sustainable business growth with a focus on the Panama Sales Area.Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver professional support across service-related interactions.Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotations and agreements, ensuring accurate pricing, timely execution, and alignment with performance targets, KPIs, and profitability goals.Coordinate service and spares activities with the Service Coordination and Spares teams to optimize resource utilization, maximize revenue, and ensure high-quality, on-time service delivery in Panama.Drive market development by acquiring new customers, monitoring the Panamanian marine and offshore market, and working closely with the Head of Sales, Service & Spares Selling to achieve annual objectives.Your QualificationsStrong technical background, preferably within marine or offshore engineering environments.Several years of relevant experience in the marine or offshore industry, with proven success in service or sales functions.Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong, long-term professional relationships.Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.What We OfferComprehensive benefits package with flexible options.Paid time off.Opportunity for continuous learning and career growth.An environment of respect, integrity, openness, inclusion, and support.Curious about this position or want to learn more?
