The Veterinary Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in a busy small animal clinic environment, managing communication and administrative tasks for a high volume of clients daily. This position supports client interactions, appointment scheduling, and patient record keeping while handling medical and insurance billing inquiries. As a key point of contact for pet owners, the representative ensures smooth operations by working closely with the office manager and providing exceptional customer service on-site.

***THIS ROLE IS PART-TIME FOR AFTERNOONS AND WEEKENDS ONLY, NO MORNING SHIFTS!**

 

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding appointments and clinic services
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing a high daily volume
• Organize and maintain accurate patient records and data entry tasks
• Provide support for medical and insurance billing inquiries
• Resolve issues promptly to enhance client satisfaction
• Coordinate follow-ups and reminders for client appointments
• Collaborate with the office manager to ensure efficient clinic operations

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in multitasking and data entry with attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable work ethic
