Principal Site Reliability Engineer, AI Automation and Orchestration

We’re looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join Procore’s Compute Division to work on our FedRAMP initiative. In this role, you’ll help build Procore’s next-generation construction compute platform for others to build upon, including Procore developers, analysts, partners, and customers.As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll partner with other engineers and product managers across Product & Technology to develop and maintain compute platform capabilities that enable SaaS based products to operate in a FedRAMP compliant environment. To be successful in this role, you’re passionate about distributed systems on the cloud with experience in operating and maintaining cloud based products at-scale. Candidates must be eligible to work on federal government projects requiring FedRAMP authorization.What you’ll do:Participate in the design and implementation of our next-generation data platform for the construction industry, primarily focused on building and supporting distributed systemsSupport our engineering team in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and supportHelp identify and propose solutions for technical gaps in our platform by running proof of concepts and experimentsWork alongside our Product, UX, and IT teams, leveraging your experience and expertise in cloud technologies to influence our product roadmap, developing innovative solutions that add additional capabilities to our toolsStay up to date with the latest data technology trendsWhat we’re looking for:Experience operating kubernetes clustersExperience provisioning and operating cloud native tools at scale4+ years of experience as a CKA, CKD8+ years of experience building and operating cloud-based, highly available, distributed, and scalable systems with large amounts of data Experience and proficiency in managing infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation Experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM etc.) Direct hands on experience in a FedRamp compliant environment preferredAdditional InformationBase Pay Range:198,240.00 - 272,580.00 USD AnnualThis role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
