Quality Control Specialist | Tulsa, OK (On-Site / Shop Floor)
Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm Mon - Thurs / Friday 7:30am -11:30am
Join a well-established Tulsa manufacturer as a hands-on Quality Control Specialist . In this full-time role, you will take direct ownership of shop-floor quality control—performing inspections, executing NDE methods, and driving continuous improvement to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ASME standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & NDE: Conduct dimensional, visual, and NDE testing (Radiographic, Penetrant, Visual) on components and assemblies using precision measurement tools.
Compliance & Auditing: Ensure shop-floor adherence to ISO 9001, GMP, and ASME standards; support internal/external quality audits.
Corrective Action & Collaboration: Partner with production and engineering to perform root-cause analysis, resolve non-conformances, and execute CAPA.
Documentation & Calibration: Record inspection results accurately in ERP/quality systems and maintain calibration for tools and gauges.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3–10 years of hands-on floor-based QC experience in a manufacturing environment (heavy manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred), or equivalent ASME-related training.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with precision tools (micrometers, gauges), reading technical engineering drawings, and executing NDE methods.
Quality Standards: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Technical/vocational degree preferred).
NDE Certifications (RT, PT, VT) strongly preferred .
Formal ISO 9001 or ASME inspection certifications are a plus.
