Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves providing care for surgical patients, including those with GI, orthopedic, trauma, gynecological, oncology, sickle cell, and general medical conditions. The position emphasizes clinical skills such as wound management, blood administration, and respiratory support in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/17/2026
• Required Qualifications: Kentucky license, BLS, NIHSS, 2 years of experience, STAC certification (3 preferred), and current certifications in BLS and NIHSS
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NICU experience, ICU experience, or specialized credentialing are advantageous
• Additional Information: The unit provides a highly supportive team environment with a focus on oncology and post-operative care. Orientation includes a 24-hour Neuro Evaluation Unit introduction, followed by one 12-hour shift at the end of week one and another at the start of week two. The unit culture promotes teamwork, compassion, and attention to detail, with staff working closely to ensure exceptional patient care. Floating may be to mixed acuity units only. Scrub color is galaxy blue, with free onsite parking and badge access.
