Section Manager 1

Section Manager 1 - Operations (OPS) manages through team leaders and/or section supervisors the daily activities for a functional area typically comprised of exempt and non‑exempt employees. Responsibilities Monitoring workflows to ensure internal service levels are met. Partnering with leadership across the bank to improve service levels. Managing internal and external audits. Ensuring policies and procedures remain current. Training and developing colleagues. Ensuring the area is adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained. Reviewing and recommending new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient. Planning and scheduling the activities within the area of responsibility and coordinating activities with other areas as required. Resolving the more complex working problems. Preparing, maintaining and/or monitoring reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Ensuring quality of service level is maintained. Performing other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 or more years experience as team leader or supervisor. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Active listener. Critical thinker. Organizer. Customer oriented. Ability to develop and motivate employees. Employment Conditions Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay). Workplace Type: Office.
