Responsibilities of the Production Control Lead:

• Perform walking audits to compare printed mail pieces to approved audits to ensure customer work is correct and accurate before proceeding to shipping
• Occasional operation of machine equipment due to absences and other unexpected occurrences
• Document any production errors or damaged pieces quickly and accurately for assessment and implementation of an action plan
• Assist with maintaining machinery by scheduling routine maintenance, and sometimes equipment repair to keep production equipment at a high rate of excellence
• Be knowledgeable and trained on multiple levels of print and production equipment; be able to service various equipment, and troubleshoot unexpected errors with production team
• Inventory of various items on the production floor
• Gather metric data and follow through on adjustments needed in production to produce

customer orders on time and accurately

• Follow through on various production related projects to completion; responsible for the scheduling and task assignment of said projects
• Keeping up to date communication with the AMT Team regarding the status and shipping of
• various customer orders along with managing, staffing and supporting their success
• Partner with Quality Specialists and Production Specialists to produce customer work at a fast pace while maintaining the highest quality for our customers
• Maintain positive interpersonal working relationships with the rest of the Production Team
• Manage Production Vendor Accounting / Expenditures and Vendor Relationships
• Procurement of Production Materials for all necessary Production Functions

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong Leadership Qualities
• Intimate Knowledge of Print, Mail, and Shipping Processes
• Strong Command of Communication Skills both Electronic and Verbal
• Able to Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Ability to Lift 50-75 lbs of Material as Needed
• Driven to Accomplish Data-Driven Metric Goals for both Production Equipment and Production Team Members
  

Education and Experience:

• Logistics (Production or Warehouse Familiarity): 15 Years (Preferred) - 10 Years (Minimum Required)
• Print and Mail Experience: 10 Years (Preferred) - 5 Years (Minimum Required)
• Equipment Operation Experience: 10 Years (Preferred) - 5 Years (Minimum Required)
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Spanish is not required but would be a plus
