About the Role:

The Production Lead supports daily operations of the manufacturing production line to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. This role acts as the primary point of contact on the floor, assisting the Production Manager with training, communication, problem-solving, and maintaining smooth, efficient operations across assigned production lines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing production environment, including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment, packaging lines, and manufacturing safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate production activities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production line workers to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Interpret and implement production schedules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures to optimize workflow.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of production and packaging equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient performance.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance skills, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics to management.
