This is not a build-from-zero position . MK already has: Existing B2B accounts and customer relationships Active sales opportunities and pipeline Sales representatives in place A functioning CRM and sales process Recruiting and screening systems Rep onboarding already built Daily huddles and weekly management cadence Sales scripts, training materials, and reporting standards Leadership infrastructure already supporting the sales organization The foundation is built. Your job is to take control of the system, increase production, strengthen accountability, grow the team, and expand revenue nationally. We are not looking for someone to spend six months designing a sales department. We are looking for someone who can come in, understand the operation quickly, improve what already exists, and increase meetings, signed accounts, rep production, and collected revenue. What You Own Sales Team Management Lead the existing sales team Run daily sales huddles Conduct weekly 1-on-1s with every rep Review pipelines and individual performance Coach prospecting, meetings, follow-up, and closing Hold reps accountable to measurable targets Recruiting & Growth Maintain an active recruiting pipeline Review candidates Conduct interviews Make hiring decisions Onboard new representatives through MK’s existing system Grow the sales organization as revenue and territories expand Pipeline & Production Increase qualified sales opportunities Improve conversion from outreach to meetings to signed business Increase production from existing reps Expand existing B2B relationships Develop predictable sales production across the organization Reporting Maintain CRM discipline Track rep activity and production Monitor pipeline health Forecast expected revenue Report team performance to executive leadership Identify problems early and correct them What Success Looks Like You are walking into an operating sales machine. Success means taking what already exists and making it perform at a significantly higher level. We expect the National Sales Manager to: Increase rep productivity Grow the number of active B2B accounts Increase qualified pipeline Improve sales conversion Strengthen accountability Recruit and develop stronger reps Create consistent, measurable sales production Reduce the need for executive leadership to manage individual reps This is a plug-in-and-scale role , not an early-stage sales experiment. What We’re Looking For Previous sales management or team-lead experience Strong preference for experience managing commission-based sales teams A quota-carrying sales background of your own Someone who understands outbound sales firsthand Strong interviewing and coaching ability Comfortable managing through a CRM and measurable KPIs Able to hold a team accountable without micromanaging Comfortable making difficult performance and hiring decisions Someone who sees an existing system and immediately looks for ways to make it faster, stronger, and more productive This Role Is Not For Everyone This is not a salaried management seat and it is not an inbound-lead management role. The position is built around performance and collected revenue. If you have never personally operated in a commission-driven sales environment, this likely will not be the right fit.
