Service Technician

Field Service Technician I – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX The Field Service Technician services, fixes, upgrades, and performs preventative maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software, and specialized office products located at client sites in the South Shore and surrounding area. The role collaborates with branch sales and other service team members to guarantee ongoing client success. Responsibilities And Duties Service, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment. Travel daily to client sites (90%) and perform overnight travel as needed (10%). Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs. Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time. Provide extended hours coverage periods and on‑call duty where applicable. Safeguard and maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory. Maintain cleanliness of the company issued vehicle and schedule service intervals. Safeguard company issued assets, including tablet computer and mobile phone. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Impeccable integrity. 1+ years working as a technician/field service/mechanical role or similar profession. Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments; occupational licenses may be required. Strong electromechanical aptitude is a plus, not a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑first attitude. Personable, approachable, and able to work easily with others at all levels. Strong attention to detail and ability to proof and prioritize work. Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications, and Windows OS. Ability to set and track goals independently and work proactively as a team player. Able to commit to and meet project deadlines. Physical Requirements Available for periodic travel to corporate office in Mt. Prospect, IL for training. Lift, push, or carry a minimum of 50 pounds (e.g., counting machines and parts). Work includes kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting up to 60% of the time. Require hand and wrist dexterity for screwdriver use and equipment assembly. Computer work (phone or desk) about 10% of the time. Stand for long periods up to 75% of the time while servicing equipment.
