CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Toledo, OH Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a CNC Machinist with 1-5 years of experience operating CNC machines. This position is ideal for candidates ranging from entry-level operators to experienced machinists capable of independently setting up machines and making program edits. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently to produce quality parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Perform machine setups and make program edits as experience allows. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Read and accurately use tape measures and precision measuring instruments. Monitor machine performance and identify quality issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Qualifications 1-5 years of CNC machining experience preferred. Experience with Mazak machines is a plus but not required. Mastercam experience is not required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is required. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates with less experience but a strong desire to learn and develop machining skills will be considered. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for the entire shift. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Schedule: Full-time
