Press Operator- 2nd Shift

Toledo Tool & Die is adding Press Operators to support continued growth. This full‑time position is located in Toledo, Ohio, with 2nd shift hours Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm‑10:00 pm. What Toledo Tool & Die Can Offer You Hourly rate of $18.50 Weekly pay 10 paid holidays Paid Time Off 401(k) Full benefits (medical, dental, vision) Key Responsibilities Start machines, monitor operation, record operational data and track material usage. Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material. Load work pieces into machines. Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to flaw types. Read production schedules to determine specifications, ensuring compliance with customer dimensions and tolerances. Verify and document dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Stop production when unsafe parts or conditions appear. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Eligible to work in the United States. Successfully complete pre‑employment screening (background check and drug screen). Available to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays). Preferred experience operating large industrial equipment. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Report to work on time to support production startup. Good physical stamina and coordination; capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds. Team‑oriented with good communication skills, basic math skills, and physical dexterity.
