Description
  • Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, developing personalized treatment strategies.
  • Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow healthcare professionals - including nurses, physicians, and case managers - to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise routines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility requirements and regulations.
  • Engage in interprofessional rounds and team conferences to facilitate coordinated care.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist .
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
  • Previous clinical experience is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.
