Today, the company has the products, manufacturing capacity and technical infrastructure to launch a new specialty materials division. It is looking for a commercial leader who can turn that foundation into a growing business.

DMC Recruitment Group is partnering with this organization to recruit a Director of Distribution and Channel Sales, reporting directly to ownership.

This is an opportunity to shape the strategy, open the first doors and build the partnerships and team that will define the division's future.

The Business Behind You
You will be supported by established manufacturing operations, laboratory and R&D capabilities, experienced technical specialists, and existing finance, marketing and technology resources.

The initial focus is wall waterproofing and industrial protective coatings, with applications across concrete and masonry buildings, structural steel, tanks, piping and industrial equipment. A broader specialty materials portfolio creates further opportunities for expansion.

Ownership is seeking someone who brings market knowledge, commercial judgment and a clear point of view on how to grow. You will have direct access to decision-makers and meaningful influence over the business you build.

Your Mandate

Develop the launch strategy, selecting priority products, markets and territories.

Build productive relationships with specialty distributors, independent representatives and contractors.

Personally secure early accounts and project opportunities.

Evaluate the right routes to market, including distribution, direct sales, OEM and private-label partnerships.

Establish pricing, channel incentives, forecasts and performance expectations.

Grow revenue and profitability, adding people and resources as the business develops.

Initial market development will focus primarily east of the Mississippi.

What You Bring
You understand specialty coatings or waterproofing systems and have a track record of turning industry relationships into commercial results.

Your experience includes developing distribution channels, opening markets or launching technical products. You are comfortable discussing margins and business plans with ownership, then getting on the road to meet partners and win business.

You may currently be a regional sales leader, national sales leader, channel director or business-unit manager. What matters is your ability and ambition to build, backed by strong product knowledge and hands-on execution.

P&L experience is an asset, along with the ability to recruit and lead a team as the division grows.
