Quality Technician

Job Description A Maintenance Technician to support the Quality Manager in ensuring Brazeway products meet or exceed customer expectations of conformance to design, function and continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or to obtain within 18 months preferred. Relevant plant experience. Math competency with the ability to comprehend statistical data including capability and gage studies. Ability to interpret prints. Use and calibrate micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection equipment. Follow and write work instructions/procedures and control plans. Produce accurate and intelligent reports based on product/process data. Lead teams. Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Proficient with electronic communication (Outlook, Teams). Conduct all relevant quality tests including tensile, yield, elongation, burst and dimensional measurements. Provide Quality Tech and Die Tech coverage on a day-to-day basis. Design / manage various types of gauges. Perform process/layered audits. Provide customer service as needed. Audit and revise work instructions / control plans. Perform additional quality / die related duties as directed. Maintain dies per designed standards and work instructions, including cleaning, repairing, reworking, replacing tooling and documenting information. Support operations with changeover, thread‑up, die changes, etc. when needed. Collect quality samples from Press Operators. Maintain General 5S + Safety.
