Clinic Med Office Receptionist

Facility Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital Location Newport, OR Schedule - Shift 1.0 (80 hrs/pp) - Day Department PCH Orthopedic Surgeons Remote Status Remote Status: OnSite Salary Range Salary Range: $16.84 - $24.73 Performs receptionist duties and provides clerical support for office. Greets patients and interfaces with hospital staff, clinical staff, patients and visitors in a professional manner.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

SHS Orthopedic Surgeons offer specialized trauma care for a variety of fractures, casting, surgery, and splinting. We also offer joint replacement, foot and ankle care, carpal tunnel surgery, and injections as well as fracture care.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience and/or training with computer applications required. Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity preferred. Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred.

Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Ability to comply with laws and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Time Management- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues.
