Associate Director, D&A Strategy

Associate Director role at Merck focused on developing data-driven insights to support US Marketing strategy and HCP engagement. Responsibilities

Partner with US Marketing and cross-functional teams as strategic insights and analytics lead for HCP strategy
Translate business priorities into analytical plans, decision frameworks, and actionable recommendations
Develop comprehensive understanding of HCP needs, behaviors, adoption drivers, and engagement preferences using multiple data sources
Synthesize secondary data, market research, digital analytics, and field insights to inform segmentation and targeting strategies
Lead analytics projects from problem definition through delivery, ensuring quality outputs and clear stakeholder communication

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience delivering analytics, insights, or strategy work in pharma, biotech, or healthcare
Demonstrated experience supporting commercial decisions through HCP-focused analytics and insights
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial model and HCP insights application
Proficiency with analytical tools; hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar platforms preferred
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, PhD) preferred
Experience supporting product launches or across product lifecycle stages preferred
