Meet The Team The Technical Product Management (TPM) Team drives alignment through a technology roadmap, accelerating our corporate milestones by focusing our development teams on the most critical items on our path to a milestone. We collaborate cross‑functionally, manage dependencies, predict outcomes, unblock risks, and maintain accountability with engineering teams. What You’ll Do Identify and prioritize the needs for Requirements and Safety workstreams, and partner with TPMs and engineering leaders to ensure timely design and implementation into e‑electronic systems. Represent these areas to build cross‑functional plans, define and verify acceptance criteria, drive alignment, and deliver workstream outcomes on the technology roadmap to enable critical product milestones. Reconcile gaps in timelines, focus leadership attention, and proactively address dependencies, risks, and change management across the roadmap. Apply program‑management best practices and engineering expertise to report status to leadership, initiate escalations, and drive timely execution on the technology roadmap, including its dependencies, risks, and changes. What You’ll Need to Succeed 6+ years as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Program Manager in autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or similar industries. Degree requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field + 6+ years of experience. Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field + 3+ years of experience. Strong track record of driving execution of cross‑functional programs and communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience managing a cross‑functional roadmap, including dependencies, risks, and change management. Strong active listening, negotiation, and prioritization skills. Ability to provide clear, well‑structured, concise communications tailored to different audiences. The desire to grow technical and program skillsets in an evolving industry. Bonus Points Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle Industry. Experience designing and releasing to safety standards. Experience integrating safety case, requirements, and acceptance criteria into systems and software design. Experience leading a team to a production launch. Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro. Job ID R-102766 Hiring Range US Pay Range: $177,300—$212,800 USD Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Torc's total compensation package will also include our corporate bonus and stock option plan. Dependent on the position offered, sign‑on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
