About the Position

Job Title: Oncology RN Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS required; Chemo Certification preferred Description: We are seeking an Oncology RN to join our team. This position offers the opportunity for impactful patient care. The facility is recognized for clinical excellence and safety in healthcare. You will work in a unit that focuses on oncology and women’s surgical services. The unit has 24 beds and a team of 42 staff members. On day shifts, the team includes 1 charge nurse, 4-6 registered nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1 health unit coordinator. Night shifts will have a similar staffing structure. The patient ratios will be 1:4 or 1:5. Familiarity with EMR, specifically Cerner, is beneficial. We are looking for team players who are eager to learn and adapt. Candidates without the required license and certifications will not be considered for the role. The dress code for RNs consists of navy, white, or a combination of both colors. Basic hospital policies and guidelines are in place to ensure quality care. Weekend work may be required, with staff typically scheduled for 6 weekend days over the course of their rotation.
