TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Garfield Heights, Ohio, 44125!

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with competency validated via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Document and track hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-required modules

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be active and in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification required — must be willing to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted
• Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation — maximum of 2 attempts permitted
• Locals are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience concentrated within a single facility or unit preferred
• Charge RN experience — references from Charge RN roles are accepted
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
