We design and manufacture the most comprehensive choice of kitchen cabinets in the country across our brands that include iconic leaders like KraftMaid®, Medallion® and Merillat®.We are America's largest privately held cabinetmaker, a best-in-class team of over 6,000 employees across 20 locations, including 15 manufacturing facilities.The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 annually.Principal Functional Responsibilities:Execute and accountable for performance and goal attainment as defined by the Manufacturing Management Operating System (MOS)Develop and manage a culture of discipline to consistently deliver superior safety, quality, delivery, cost and operational performance through continuous improvementParticipate in non-conforming product and process alerts and champion corrective and preventative actions focused on mitigating the reoccurrence and/or magnitude of potential future failuresCreate, manage, maintain and ensure operations are executed in compliance with established Standard Work Instructions, Training Plans, Layered Process Audit and Controlled Documentation ProcessesParticipate in the capital / expense planning and realization process in their areasLead, participate in, and execute continuous improvement activities including Value Stream Mapping eventsManage, develop and provide performance feedback to subordinatesEssential Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field5 years previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in lean tool knowledge and applicationFundamental knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen activities and Six Sigma processesDemonstrated successful leadership, including personnel and organization developmentDemonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department and across the organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customersAbility to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with managementDemonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issuesPreferred Qualifications and Skills:Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification or comparable problem solving certificationFamiliarity with the cabinet industry and productTotal preventative maintenance (TPM) or similar experiencePrior Oracle experienceAt Cabinetworks, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, parental support programs, and company-paid life and disability benefits.
