Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international law firm seeking a 7th to 8th year Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Senior Associate to join its Los Angeles California office. This is a corporate transactional role focused on advising growth stage technology companies and investors across venture capital financings, private offerings, and related corporate matters arising throughout the company life cycle. The platform offers a well established technology focused corporate practice, a collaborative partner led environment, and the resources of a broad national and international footprint. The role is based in the Los Angeles office and requires in office presence five days per week. The Opportunity You will advise emerging company clients through multiple stages of fundraising and corporate development, including structuring and negotiating venture capital financings, handling private offerings, supporting core corporate workstreams, and working closely with founders, executives, investors, partners, and colleagues across the broader corporate platform.
