2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on production leader who can guide teams, maintain quality standards, support on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily 2nd shift operations, coach production employees, coordinate schedules and resources, and partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily 2nd shift production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals. Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting accountability, teamwork, and adherence to standards. Ensure compliance with SOPs, IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9100, customer specifications, and quality management requirements. Monitor production metrics including productivity, quality, scrap, rework, and delivery performance. Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and production schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime. Partner with Quality, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues, support corrective actions, and identify Lean process improvements. Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $40 to $43 per hour. Job Type: Temp-to-hire. Shift: 2nd shift. Location: Fountain Valley, CA.
