Who You Bring To SBHG (Qualifications) Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Experience: Clinical experience with adults in residential or community‑based settings. Experience with County mental health systems, child welfare, and/or juvenile probation services is strongly preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Current, active medical license in good standing. Valid DEA license. Current malpractice insurance coverage. Valid California Driver’s License with appropriate insurance and driving record. How You Will Make a Difference (Job Overview) The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to clients receiving care through Starlight Community Services, supporting individuals with complex behavioral health needs in community settings. Division / Program Overview Serves adults (18+) and older adult populations. Fully community‑based program, all services delivered in clients’ homes or within the community. Clients present with complex, multi‑faceted needs, including: medication management, housing support, vocational services, independent living skills, mental health treatment.
