This Northeast Ohio company is continuing to grow. From humble roots as a small production facility, they are now a nationally known and certified manufacturing company. Now, even more business is leading to expansion, and here is your chance to join their team during an exciting time of growth. You will enjoy many perks working for this company such as a climate-controlled production facility and no weekend work. Currently, our client is looking for a Quality Manager.

Duties of the Quality Manager include:

Ensure manufactured products meet company and industry quality standards
Oversee and improve quality inspection procedures
Coach, train, and manage quality assurance employees
Manage and update quality system and quality procedures
Work with management, production, and engineering to discover and resolve quality assurance issues
Ensure quality documentation (PPAPs, Control Plans, etc) is completed and correct
Lead internal and external quality audits
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues with materials
Use continuous improvement initiatives and KPI data to improve quality assurance

Requirements for the Quality Manager:

Prior experience in quality assurance leadership at a manufacturing facility
Experience in a job shop, machining manufacturer, or metal fabrication environment is highly preferred
Strong leadership skills and a positive management mentality
Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards
Knowledge of quality inspection equipment
