Position: Director, RCM Location: Corporate - University Park, FLJob Id: 3417 # of Openings: 1 JOB SUMMARY:The Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for the oversight and strategic leadership of all end-to-end revenue cycle functions, including financial clearance, payer enrollment & credentialing, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, cash management, accounts receivable management, denial management, and revenue integrity. This role ensures seamless integration and optimal performance of all revenue cycle operations by leading managers, supervisors, and frontline staff. The Director will analyze data, develop and implement policies, collaborate across departments, and drive process improvements to maximize cash flow, ensure compliance, and support organizational goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire revenue cycle, including pa (authorization, referrals, insurance verification), charge capture and reconciliation, coding, billing, cash management (payment posting, credit balance management), accounts receivable (insurance and patient billing, follow-up, denial management), and revenue integrity.Oversee daily operations and performance of all revenue cycle teams, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient billing and claims, and maximizing collections and cash flow.Analyze revenue cycle data, develop and present reports, and identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement.Identify and execute strategies for continuous process improvement across all revenue cycle functions, including workflow optimization, technology adoption, and compliance initiatives.Develop, implement, and maintain revenue cycle policies and procedures; ensure staff are trained and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards.Supervise, mentor, and develop revenue cycle managers, supervisors, and staff; conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.Ensure timely and accurate billing and claims submission, and oversee denial management and appeals processes to minimize revenue leakage.Monitor and report on cash flow, key performance indicators, and outstanding accounts receivable; provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT departments to optimize revenue cycle processes and support organizational objectives.Implement and leverage technology solutions to enhance revenue cycle performance, data accuracy, and workflow efficiency.Resolve complex issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and payer requirements.Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects as assigned.Other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and ethical standards.Expertise in organizational billing systems and related technology platforms.Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proven ability to drive change, improve processes, and deliver results across end-to-end revenue cycle functions.Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of the department and organization.Flexible to the needs of the department and organization.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:The position will have supervisory responsibilities. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
