Facilities Technician 2nd Shift

Location: Statesville, NC Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Schedule: Full-Time Pay: $28.69$30.89/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium

Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, operation, and reliability of critical facility and utility systems within a manufacturing environment in Statesville, NC.

The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial or facilities maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills . This position will work with electrical systems up to 480V, compressed air, process water, plumbing, ventilation, piping, and other facility infrastructure while supporting preventive maintenance and day-to-day plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility utility systems, including compressed air, process water, chemical filtration, fire suppression, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on facility systems and equipment
• Work safely with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Install and maintain electrical, pneumatic, and water piping for facility and production equipment
• Perform plumbing and piping repairs and installations as needed
• Support HVAC and ventilation system maintenance
• Install computer and phone cabling throughout the facility
• Assist with relocating, installing, and setting up production equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve facility reliability and reduce downtime
• Use electrical meters, test equipment, hand tools, and maintenance equipment to diagnose and repair issues
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other equipment as required
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment documentation
• Support 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow applicable safety procedures and facility requirements
• Support operations in accordance with ISO and IATF quality standards
• Work collaboratively with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and other plant personnel

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 23+ years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience troubleshooting and working with 24V to 480V electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with plumbing, piping, HVAC, or facility utility systems
• Experience using electrical meters, test equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to facility maintenance issues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous facilities maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with compressed air and process water systems
• Experience maintaining ventilation or HVAC systems
• Experience installing electrical, pneumatic, or water piping
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Familiarity with ISO or IATF manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting equipment installation and relocation
• Experience with 5S or continuous improvement programs
