Delivery Operations Manager

We are looking for a Delivery Operations Manager to lead and manage the delivery service side of our business. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of cannabis products to customers in surrounding shore towns and oversees roll-up window (walk-up / drive-up) operations. The Delivery Operations Manager will coordinate logistics, maintain compliance with state regulations, manage delivery staff, and ensure high standards in customer service and security. This position is on-site and requires familiarity with cannabis retail protocols, secure transport procedures, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations and roll-up window service to ensure timely, safe and compliant deliveries.
• Coordinate and schedule delivery routes, manage dispatching and ensure proper delivery logistics.
• Verify customer ID and age compliance on deliveries and at roll-up window, following all relevant state cannabis regulations.
• Manage delivery staff (drivers), including training, scheduling, performance, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, inventory transfers, and transactions for compliance and auditing.
• Ensure secure handling and transport of cannabis products, adhering to company security protocols and state regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with store management and inventory teams to coordinate orders, restocks and communication about product availability and delivery demand.

• Associate’s degree or higher in logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in delivery management, logistics, or retail operations — preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to coordinate multiple deliveries and routes.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, state cannabis regulations regarding adult-use sales, secure transport, age verification, and record-keeping.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; comfort with driving within the delivery area and familiarity with local geography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with customers and manage a small staff team.
• Integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining security standards and compliance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on store hours and delivery demand.
