HVAC Shop Mechanic
$20 - $27 per hourFull-time
The HT Group
The HT Group is seeking a Shop Mechanic for a client in Beaumont, TX . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00AM – 4:00PM . Overtime is required as needed, and the team is currently working overtime. Pay: $20-$27/hour DOE.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fabricate, and modify HVAC and mechanical equipment
- Cut, fit, and solder copper tubing
- Install and fit electrical components, including compressors, fan motors, and instrumentation
- Perform light sheet metal fabrication
- Assist with the assembly of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and process refrigeration systems
- Minimum 1 year of shop mechanic or mechanical fabrication experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- HVAC experience preferred
- Experience with soldering/brazing copper tubing required
- Electrical and light sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work overtime as needed
