Cold Chain Systems Technician — Walk‑Ins, Freezers & Ice Based in Hayward, CA Let’s start with a few questions

Your core missions

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration assets: walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems to ensure optimal cooling and reliability.
• Execute scheduled PMs and inspections to extend equipment life.
• Deliver clear, courteous updates to clients on issues, options, and recommendations.
• Accurately document service calls, findings, repairs, and parts used.
• Track emerging trends and technology improvements in refrigeration.
• Follow all safety standards, codes, and best practices while on site.

Are you a match?

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification in refrigeration/HVAC preferred.
• Proven background as a refrigeration tech or similar field role.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration system components and operation.
• Comfortable with both electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and detail orientation.
• Works well solo and within a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA refrigerant certification is a plus.
