Job Location GRTR CHICAGO FULFILLMENT CTR Job Description IntelligentControlsandAutomation (ICA)technicians are being hired as skilledmembersofourwarehouseoperations teams. ICAtechniciansare responsible forenablingproductionthroughput, reducing equipment downtime,troubleshooting issues, eliminating defects,andbuilding technical mastery.They focuson initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, and in a safe environment.Theyhaveelectrical technical masteryin order tosuccessfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems.ICAtechniciansperformvarious typesof work,such as: Operatingwarehouse automatedequipmentandprocesses Maintaining and troubleshootingwarehouse automation,process,andpower & controls equipment Using electricaltest equipmenttodiagnose electrical problems Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programmingPLC,SCADA, and HMI systems Troubleshooting andmonitoringvariable frequency drives,servos, robotics Troubleshooting and repairingmachine and process control equipment Analyzing trends and technical data to gain insights of the controls andidentifyissues proactively Building technical skills in others Job Qualifications Requirements to Apply: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED 2-yeartechnical degree/certification in Industrial Electrical or related fieldoraequivalent experience of appliedelectrical and controlsskillsin an industrial environment Knowledge and practical application with some of the following technology areas:PLC’s,HMI’s,processinstrumentation,machinecontrol systems, variable frequency drives(PowerFlex, etc.), servo drives,robotics,power distribution( Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for industrial electrical issues Capable of usingPLC program navigationfor troubleshooting Able to read and use electrical schematics and single-line drawings Able to use electrical troubleshooting tools for measurements and analysis Interpersonal and teamwork skills Ableto rotate shifts(on a 2-2-3slowrotation schedule with 12-hour shiftsor 2-2-3 fixed night or fixed day shift) Successful completion of a Technical Interview will be required as part of the application process.
