Physical Therapist (PT)

Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) servicing in our Silver Spring, Rockville, or Southern Maryland Territory! We're seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will:

• Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
• Administer physical therapy interventions and treatments according to agency's accepted policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
• Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administer and supervise physical therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
• Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement, and access treatment programs.

Qualifications include:

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Maryland Physical Therapy Licensure.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements.
• One to three years' experience preferred.
• One year home care experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Days
• Weekend Requirements: Once per month
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating within the team

Pay Range: $34.58 - $51.87

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
