Forklift Operator

We are looking for an experienced sit-down forklift operator to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role involves moving materials, loading trucks, keeping accurate inventory, and following all safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift safely
• Move materials to production lines, storage areas, and shipping docks
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
• Verify loads using work orders, bills of lading, and labels
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Complete pre-shift forklift inspections and report issues
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
• Work with production and warehouse teams to meet daily goals

Required Skills

• Sit-down forklift experience
• Ability to read work orders and shipping documents
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for long periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
