FT PM Psychiatric Registered Nurse

Job Overview Full Time (7pm-7am) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department at Minden Medical Center, Minden, LA. Provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. Daily Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary team Administer medications Implement individualized care plans Ensure safety and well‑being of patients Foster therapeutic environment during 36/48 schedule Requirements MUST have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana. MUST have CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and compassion for patients with mental health conditions. Detail‑oriented and capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations. Adaptability and resilience in dynamic psychiatric nursing environment. Commitment to upholding highest standards of patient safety and care.
